This Privacy Policy explains how Functionland Inc and any other and future Fuse related entity (“Fuse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the Fuse mobile and web applications and the website at onfuse.app (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide or connect

Account & sign-in. When you sign in with Pinterest, Google, or Apple, we receive basic profile information from that provider, such as your name, email address, profile image, and a unique account identifier, as permitted by the provider and your settings.
Pinterest content. If you connect Pinterest, we access the boards and pins you authorize — including images, titles, descriptions, and source links — to display them in the app and use them to generate design ideas. We access this through Pinterest’s API using a token you authorize; you can revoke access at any time in your Pinterest settings.
Images and content you add. Photos or items you upload or import, the “design rooms” you create, and the AI-generated design images produced from your selections.

Information collected automatically

Usage data. Actions within the app (e.g., designs generated, items saved), and history of your activity needed to provide the Service.
Device & technical data. Device type, operating system, app version, language, and similar diagnostic information, including log data and approximate identifiers used for security and reliability.
Analytics & crash reporting. Aggregated usage and crash diagnostics through providers such as Firebase, Sentry, Gemini.

We do not intentionally collect special-category data (such as health, biometric, or precise geolocation data).

2. How We Use Your Information

Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including authenticating you and displaying your Pinterest content.
Generate AI design ideas from the pieces and images you select.
Save your boards, design rooms, history, and preferences.
Maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, debug, and improve the Service.
Develop, train, fine-tune, and improve artificial-intelligence and machine-learning models and the Service.
Create and use de-identified, aggregated, and anonymized data — which does not identify you and excludes your email and other contact details — for research, analytics, and model development.
Communicate with you about the Service and respond to your requests.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, including your email address. We share information only as described here:

Service providers. Vendors who process data on our behalf to run the Service — for example cloud hosting and our backend (the api.onfuse.app backend / database host), content delivery (Cloudflare and wsrv.nl), and the AI model provider that generates designs (Gemini and Claude) — we do not have any agreements with them and rely on their general agreements.
Identity & connected platforms. Pinterest, Google, and Apple, in connection with sign-in and (for Pinterest) accessing the content you authorize. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own privacy policies and we do not take responsibility for any issues on their side.
Legal & safety. When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Fuse, our users, or others.
De-identified & anonymized data. We may share de-identified, aggregated, or anonymized data and models — which do not identify you and exclude direct identifiers such as your email — with service providers, processors, research partners, and successors, including to develop and improve AI models. We commit to use such data only in de-identified form, not to re-identify it (except to test that de-identification is effective), and to contractually require recipients to do the same.
Business transfers & entity transition. Functionland Inc. currently operates the Service as steward for the benefit of the future Fuse Creatives entity. In connection with its incorporation, or in a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to Fuse Creatives or another affiliate, successor, or acquirer, subject to terms at least as protective as this Policy.
With your direction. When you choose to share or export content.

4. AI-Generated Content — Important Disclaimer

Fuse uses artificial intelligence to generate interior-design imagery and suggestions from the items you select. AI-generated content is provided for inspiration and visualization purposes only. It is produced automatically, may be inaccurate, unrealistic, or unsuitable, and is not professional interior-design, architectural, structural, safety, or purchasing advice. Generated images may not depict actual products, dimensions, colors, availability, or pricing. You are solely responsible for evaluating any output and for any decisions you make (including any purchases). To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranty as to the accuracy, quality, fitness, or non-infringement of AI-generated content and accept no liability arising from your reliance on it.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a commercially reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes as long as required by law.

6. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information (for example, encryption in transit and access controls). However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee absolute security. You use the Service at your own risk and are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of information resulting from events beyond our reasonable control.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent. You may also disconnect Pinterest, Google, or Apple access at any time from within the app or from those providers’ settings. To exercise your rights, contact us at info@onfuse.app. We will respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. California residents: we do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA .

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 where applicable), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service and all content (including AI-generated designs) are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will Fuse or its owners, officers, employees, or suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, AI-generated content, third-party services, or any data breach or security incident. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you, and nothing in this Policy limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

This Policy is part of your agreement with us. Additional terms — including warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, how we use de-identified data to train AI, and dispute resolution — are set out in our Terms of Service.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with and links to third-party services (including Pinterest, Google, Apple, and our AI and hosting providers). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties; their use of your information is governed by their own policies.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may change this Policy at any time and in our sole discretion, with or without prior notice. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date; where advance notice is required by applicable law, we will provide it. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
